TikTok Partners with NGOs Across MENA to Give Back to Communities
The curated content will educate viewers on how to contribute productively to societal change.
Dubai: TikTok is partnering with NGOs across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt under #TikTokForGood. The idea is to align the NGO's goals with tangible actions. The partner NGOs are the Saudi Food Bank Eta'am, Emirates Red Crescent, and Egypt Food Bank. #TikTokForGood aims to raise awareness and educate audiences on engaging in actionable ways with these NGOs to contribute to community welfare.
#TikTokForGood content will include pressing social issues, donation etiquette, and best practices while encouraging viewers to become change agents and contribute to causes they care about.
In addition to showcasing NGO content, the #TikTokForGood hub features an embedded donation link within the platform. This allows users to contribute to partner organisations and support their initiatives directly.
A similar activity was undertaken during Ramadan when community members could discover curated content from partner NGOs and make monetary contributions through a donation link displayed in the conversation bar for easy access.
#TikTokForGood CSR initiative has made giving back to society more accessible and reliable. It is empowering to know different ways to make meaningful change and uplift communities for the welfare and future of fellow human beings.
